Speed numbers are Lighthouse mobile medians, run Oct 16, 2026 on the live pages.
Three Lighthouse runs on a mid-range phone came back at 14.0, 14.7 and 16.5 seconds, with a speed score of 55. Most people leave a page that takes more than three seconds, and Google uses phone speed when it ranks local results. On desktop it loads in 1.8 seconds, so the problem is phone-only, which is where most homeowners search.
Fixed in the rebuild: The rebuild loads its main image in 1.0 s on the same phone test, with a score of 100.
Kitchen, Bathroom, Basement, Whole Home and Home Repair are set up as Squarespace store products. The price is hidden on screen, but "$0.00" sits in the page code for all five, which is what Google and AI tools read. Each service title links to a /services-ZNd8X-XdmEk/p/... page that returns "page not found," so a homeowner who clicks Kitchen Remodeling lands on a broken page.
Fixed in the rebuild: Seven real service pages, each 700 to 1,000 words, with no prices.
We pulled the Google Maps results for "bathroom remodeling" searched from Schiller Park. SRC is not in the top 40. Your Google listing has 2 reviews, while the top results have 4 to 686. The site itself ranks for zero search terms in Google’s index.
Fixed in the rebuild: City pages, service pages and business schema give Google a reason to show SRC for "kitchen remodeling Park Ridge" and the rest. Reviews are the other half: a review request after every job.
The "Our work speaks for itself" gallery shows 12 template images: people in lofts, vases, desks. The caption reads "Solutions Engineered for Measurable Impact." Your real projects are some of the best remodel photos we have seen, and none of them are on the site.
Fixed in the rebuild: Every photo in the rebuild is an SRC job, with drag-to-compare before and afters.
The site title says "SRC-Remodeling," the page says "SRC Home Repair & Remodel," and Google says "S.R.C Home Repair & Remodel." There is no address anywhere on the site, while Yelp and MapQuest list Schiller Park. Google trusts a business more when the name and location match everywhere.
Fixed in the rebuild: One name and one location on every page, matched in the schema, with the other spellings listed as alternate names.
The H1, the heading Google weighs most, says "About our company." The real headline sits in smaller text above it. The Contact and Gallery pages share one title, "Transform Your Space Today," and have no description, so Google writes its own.
Fixed in the rebuild: Every page has its own title, description and a headline that says what the page is about.
The sitemap lists Home, Contact and Gallery. There are no pages for kitchens, bathrooms, basements or any town, so there is nothing for Google to match to "basement remodeling Elmhurst."
Fixed in the rebuild: 32 pages, including 17 city pages and 7 service pages, all in a sitemap with llms.txt for AI search.
The footer splits your email across a hidden color span ("alv" + "in.santos@src-remodel.com"), which can break copy and paste and confuse anything that reads the page.
Fixed in the rebuild: Plain, clickable email and phone on every page.
The preview at vibepreview.app looks better than the current site and uses your real before and after photos. It is still one page, so it cannot rank for each service or city. It is set to noindex, it has no business schema, it weighs 9.8 MB and its main image took 31.6 s to load on our phone test. It also says "Show all 5 reviews" and shows a Yelp 5.0 badge, while your Google listing has 2 reviews. Claims a homeowner can check need to match what they find.
